Provence

Provence is particularly enchanting. No other region stirs the imagination and stimulates the senses as strongly as Provence with its wine, food, intense colors and extraordinary light. As a professional member of the Society of Wine Educators, I especially enjoy assisting guests with their visits to the wine regions – from the renowned Chateauneuf-du-Pape to the producers of the delightful local rosé. For food lovers, Provence offers colorful open markets with an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables, amazing olive oils and tasty regional specialties. Provence is an artists’ dream with the dazzling light and vivid landscapes that have been an inspiration for such famous artists Cezanne and Van Gogh.

The fragrant countryside redolent with wild herbs is scattered with historic fortified medieval towns such as Avignon and Aix-en-Provence, ancient Roman towns like Orange and Arles with their great monuments, arches and coliseums and the charming hilltop, perched villages of the Luberon. On the coast is the great port of Marseille, a melting pot of cultures so in contrast to the traditional social landscape of most French provincial towns. The fast TGV train from Paris has made Provence increasingly accessible and this, combined with glorious weather, puts it high on any list of the world's most desirable destinations.

Paris

Paris, a legendary and surprising city, invites you to experience its museums and monuments, art and architecture, and of course its world-famous cuisine. With an exciting program of events all year round, Paris is a bubbling fountain of creativity in the performing arts, fashion and design. It certainly would take months, perhaps a lifetime, to fully explore her treasures and subtleties. It is important a guest’s time in this beautiful city be rich and rewarding. Through my established relationships with excellent local guides, authors, chefs and artists, the finest hotels, restaurants and sommeliers, I provide the expertise, knowledge and background necessary to ensure visitors achieve the most from their journey to the City of Lights.

Corsica

Corsica, a lush Mediterranean island, has a rich and distinct culture best experienced through its gastronomy, crafts, languages, music and lively traditions. Corsica’s heritage and history fuel an unflinching local devotion to the island.

Riviera and the Cote d’Azur

Playground of the rich and famous, the Cote d’Azur has an irresistible and enduring appeal. Panoramic roads wind their way around the coast, linking fashionable resorts and exclusive harbors. Rich in natural diversity, the French Riviera is a land of contrasts, where from the sea you can gaze on snow-capped peaks. From sunny beaches to hilltop villages to the stunning “Azure Alps”, the Riviera offers a palette of landscapes, leisure activities, cultural exhibitions and international events.

Languedoc-Roussillon

Languedoc-Roussillon, a sun-blessed Mediterranean region, has a historic heritage (Pont du Gard, Carcassonne, Canal du Midi), cities bridging the past and the present (Montpellier, Nimes, Perpignan, Mende), 135 miles of beaches that include both traditional ports and modern resorts, and a long-standing winemaking tradition.

Rhone-Alps

Located in the heart of France, the Rhone-Alps is a diverse region that includes the French Alps and the Rhone Valley. Lyon, the capital city, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The region is famous for it gastronomy, vineyards, gorgeous mountain views, ski resorts, lakes, historical cities and breathtaking landscapes.
